We extremely excited and pleased announce that CYA Field Hockey is BACK for for Fall of 2022!    We will be playing a traditional season with 2 practices a week and a game each weekend.

No experience is necessary!  We will  teach you everything you need to know. 

Register ASAP so that we can order the appropriate number of jerseys in time for the first weekend of play.

Registration will be limited based upon the number of coaches that volunteer to coach.  Resources are available to help you learn the sport and we hope to have some high school girls helping out once a week. Practices

• All age groups (grades 3/4, 5/6, 7/8) practice at the same location.  Exact time/field is TBD.
• Practice starts on August 30.

Games

• Games will be held each weekend against other youth associations. Most games will be on Saturdays, but it is possible that some games are on Sundays and likely that the 7th/8th grades games are on Sunday afternoons.

Equipment

• Field hockey stick.  There are a limited number of loaner sticks available if there is a financial hardship.  Please email Sheri Masich at fieldhockey@chantillyyouth.org if you are in need of a stick to borrow.
• Shinguards.  Please wear the ones that cover and protect your ankles!
• Mouthguard
• Black Skort for game days.  Players will be provided with a reversible jersey.
